Charis Christian Academy and Bright Minds Educational Programs are committed to providing a quality academic program within a Christ-centered environment that is accessible to every family in our community; therefore, we offer a tuition rate based on each family's financial situation.
Any family in need of financial assistance may apply by submitting an application to a confidential third-party service online. Based on their recommendation and a review by our Financial Committee, a family's variable tuition rate is determined.
PLEASE NOTE: We are still accepting applications for financial assistance; however, applications received after August 1 will not be able to be processed before classes begin on Wednesday, August 16, 2017. If you are applying for financial assistance after August 1, please CONTACT the school office to discuss options that will ensure your student can start classes on time.
What are the requirements for financial aid? The financial need evaluation is different for every family. We take into account all aspects of your financial situation during the evaluation.
What documentation will I need to complete the application? The required supporting documentation will be outlined at the beginning and end of the online application and is tailored specifically to what is entered on your application. Typically, TADS requires your most recently filed 1040 tax form (or verification of non-filing status from the IRS), your most recent W-2 statements, your most recent pay stubs as well as documentation of the stated debt on your application. Other documentation may be required.
How can I send in the supporting documentation? You may mail, fax or upload your documentation to TADS. We will give you document submission information at the end of the application.
What if I want to leave my online application and come back to it later? You may log back in to the TADS system and complete the application at any time.
How do I know if you have received my fax, mail or upload? TADS will send you an email within 48 business hours of receiving your fax, mailed document or upload.
If my circumstances change, can I change my application? Please call the TADS helpline if you need to adjust your application, a TADS representative will ask for documentation of these changes to be submitted by mail, fax or upload.

If you would like to familiarize yourself with the application before you begin, you can download and print a Financial Aid Worksheet by clicking the button below. TADS cannot accept completed worksheets as your submitted application, please do not mail or fax them to TADS.
When you are ready to begin the online application, click the button below. A $39.00 application fee will be required to submit the application and will be payable by credit card online during the application process. The school will notify you of your tuition rate approximately 10 - 14 days after your completed application. Families receiving any financial assistance are expected to volunteer a minimum of 25 hours of their time to Charis Christian Academy or Bright Minds Educational Programs during the academic year.
NOTE TO BRIGHT MINDS FAMILIES: The financial assistance application process is being administered through Charis Christian Academy; therefore, whether you have students enrolled at Bright Minds only, or at Bright Minds and Charis both, Charis will be the only named school throughout the application process for your family.
